Born and raised on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, George Dreamer Jr. has dedicated his life to serving his people and walking in faith. As the son of George and Bessie Dreamer, George grew up surrounded by strong family values and a deep connection to his community. He is one of five siblings, and honors the memory of his late brother, who passed in 2012.
George currently serves on the Tribal Council, representing the Pine Ridge District. Now in his third consecutive term, he was elected by the people to advocate for meaningful change, cultural preservation, and community well-being. His leadership is grounded in humility, accountability, and a deep love for the land and its people.
Together with his wife, Gladys Little Bull Dreamer, George leads Pine Ridge Hope, a ministry devoted to spiritual outreach and practical support across the reservation. Married for ten years and blessed with seven children - one son and six daughters - the Dreamers have built a home rooted in faith and service.
Since giving his life to the Lord in 2015, George has embraced a calling to spread hope and healing. Through prayer walks, food distribution, community events, and the development of the House of Prayer, his ministry continues to grow as a beacon of light. Every step of his journey reflects a commitment to glorifying God and uplifting others.
“I am blessed wherever the Lord takes me to do His work and to spread His Word.” — George Dreamer Jr.
